Congressional Record, Volume 172 Issue 49 (Wednesday, March 18, 2026) [Congressional Record Volume 172, Number 49 (Wednesday, March 18, 2026)] [Senate] [Page S1276] From the Congressional Record Online through the Government Publishing Office [ www.gpo.gov ] SA 4619. Mr. HICKENLOOPER submitted an amendment intended to be proposed by him to the bill S. 1383, to establish the Veterans Advisory Committee on Equal Access, and for other purposes; which was ordered to lie on the table; as follows: In lieu of the matter proposed to be inserted, insert the following: SECTION 1. SENSE OF CONGRESS. It is the sense of Congress that-- (1) no evidence exists to suggest that the potential for fraud in voting by mail is greater than the potential for fraud by any other method of voting; (2) allowing all voters the option to vote by mail can lead to increased voter participation; and (3) during the 2024 general election, approximately 25 percent of Republicans voted by mail for President Trump. ______
