Mr. GALLEGO submitted an amendment intended to be proposed by him to the bill S. 1383, to establish the Veterans Advisory Committee on Equal Access, and for other purposes; which was ordered to lie on the table; as follows: At the end of the bill, add the following: SEC. 4. SENSE OF CONGRESS. It is the sense of Congress that the Fourth and Fourteenth Amendments to the Constitution of the United States prohibit Federal immigration officers and agents from conducting investigatory stops or making arrests based solely on race, ethnicity, or membership in any other protected class. ______
