IMPLEMENTATION OF POLICIES TO ENSURE REASONABLE AND CONSISTENT PROTECTIONS FOR PRESS FREEDOM AND ACCESS THROUGHOUT DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE. The Secretary of Defense shall establish and implement policies to ensure reasonable and consistent protections for press freedom and access for accredited journalists and photographers across all installations and operations of the Department of Defense, subject to necessary safety and operational security limitations. ______
