Mr. WELCH submitted an amendment intended to be proposed by him to the bill S. 1383, to establish the Veterans Advisory Committee on Equal Access, and for other purposes; which was ordered to lie on the table; as follows: At the appropriate place, insert the following: SEC. ___. ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT DISASTER RECOVERY FUNDING. The unobligated balances of amounts appropriated under section 100052 of the Act entitled ``An Act to provide for reconciliation pursuant to title II of H. Con. Res. 14'', approved July 4, 2025 (Public Law 119-21; 139 Stat. 387) (commonly known as the ``One Big Beautiful Bill Act''), shall be transferred to the Assistant Secretary of Commerce for Economic Development and shall be available to the Assistant Secretary to provide assistance under section 209(c)(2) of the Public Works and Economic Development Act of 1965 (42 U.S.C. 3149(c)(2)). ______
