Mr. CRUZ submitted an amendment intended to be proposed to amendment SA 4308 proposed by Mr. Scott of South Carolina (for himself and Ms. Warren) to the bill H.R. 6644, a bill to increase the supply of housing in America, and for other purposes; which was ordered to lie on the table; as follows: At the end of section 210, add the following: (e) Limitation on Funds Based on Property Tax Revenue Growth.--No funds made available under this section may be obligated or expended for an eligible entity unless the eligible entity submits to the Secretary an annual certification that the aggregate increase in total property tax revenues collected by the eligible entity during the most recently completed fiscal year did not exceed 2 percent over the preceding fiscal year. ______
