Mr. WYDEN submitted an amendment intended to be proposed by him to the bill S. 1383, to establish the Veterans Advisory Committee on Equal Access, and for other purposes; which was ordered to lie on the table; as follows: At the appropriate place, insert the following: SEC. ___. REPEAL OF EXECUTIVE ORDER RELATING TO PROTECTING AMERICAN ENERGY FROM STATE OVERREACH. (a) In General.--Effective beginning on the date of enactment of this Act, Executive Order 14260 (90 Fed. Reg. 15513; relating to protecting American energy from State overreach) shall have no force or effect and no Federal funds may be used to implement, administer, enforce, or carry out that Executive Order. (b) Savings Provision.--Nothing in this section shall be construed to impair any authority granted to the President. ______
