Mrs. FEDORCHAK. Mr. Speaker, during National Agriculture Week, I rise to recognize the men and women who keep our country running: our Nation's farmers and ranchers. In North Dakota, agriculture isn't just an industry. It is our way of life. It is early mornings, long days, and a commitment to see things through, no matter the conditions. As a lifelong North Dakotan, a fourth-generation, and the daughter of a proud farmer and rancher, I have seen this commitment my entire life. Our producers face real challenges: short growing seasons, unpredictable weather, and volatile markets, but they continue to deliver. They feed our families, fuel our economy, and sew together the fabric of rural America that is such a source of strength to our Nation. They don't ask for much, just a chance to do their work, pass their operations on to the next generation, and compete on a level playing field. This week and every week, we recognize the contributions of our farmers and ranchers and recommit to policies that support American agriculture and strengthen it for the future. ____________________
