Ms. BLUNT ROCHESTER submitted an amendment intended to be proposed by her to the bill S. 1383, to establish the Veterans Advisory Committee on Equal Access, and for other purposes; which was ordered to lie on the table; as follows: At the appropriate place, insert the following: SEC. __. PROHIBITION ON DNA DATABASES. The Department of Homeland Security, including any component thereof or any contractor, grantee, or other entity acting on behalf of the Department, may not create, maintain, purchase, license, access, or otherwise obtain a database of information relating to the DNA of United States citizens. ______
