<span>Asheville City Council pay raise for police officers good start, but need more</span> <div class="evo-article__body"><p class="gnt_ar_b_p">Asheville’s City Council on June 11 showed an increased commitment to the Asheville Police Department, voting for a 6% pay increase for officers.
