Mr. WELCH submitted an amendment intended to be proposed by him to the bill S. 1383, to establish the Veterans Advisory Committee on Equal Access, and for other purposes; which was ordered to lie on the table; as follows: At the appropriate place, insert the following: SEC. __. USE OF UNOBLIGATED IMMIGRATION ENFORCEMENT FUNDS TO PAY INTEREST ON ILLEGALLY IMPOSED DUTIES. The unobligated balances of amounts appropriated for U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement under section 100052 of the Act entitled ``An Act to provide for reconciliation pursuant to title II of H. Con. Res. 14'' (Public Law 119-21; 139 Stat. 387) (commonly known as the ``One Big Beautiful Bill Act''), shall be transferred to the Secretary of the Treasury and available to pay to importers interest incurred on amounts collected from such importers as duties illegally imposed under the International Emergency Economic Powers Act (50 U.S.C. 1701 et seq.). ______
