Haridopolos Applauds Passage of FY26 Funding to Strengthen National and Homeland Security</span> <span><span>Kaley.Stidham@…</span></span> <span><time datetime="2026-01-23T12:58:35-05:00" title="Friday, January 23, 2026 - 12:58">Fri, 01/23/2026 - 12:58</time> </span> <div class="evo-press-release__body"><p><span><strong>WASHINGTON, D.C. </strong>— Congressman Mike Haridopolos released the following statement after the House passed </span><em><span>H.R. 7148, the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2026,</span></em><span> and </span><em><span>H.R. 7147, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Appropriations Act, 2026,</span></em><span> completing the Fiscal Year 2026 appropriations process:</span></p><p><em><span>“Congress is doing its job by funding the military, keeping Americans safe, and cutting unnecessary government spending,” </span></em><span><strong>said Congressman Haridopolos.</strong></span><em><span> “These bills strengthen our national security and support our service members while delivering real results back home, including improved transportation, stronger local infrastructure, and support for growing communities.”</span></em></p><p><em><span>The funding package makes significant investments in military readiness, including new Navy aircraft that enhance threat detection and command-and-control capabilities.
