Mr. LUJAN submitted an amendment intended to be proposed by him to the bill S. 1383, to establish the Veterans Advisory Committee on Equal Access, and for other purposes; which was ordered to lie on the table; as follows: At the appropriate place, insert the following: SEC. __. SENSE OF THE SENATE RELATING TO FUNDING FOR CERTAIN NIH ACTIVITIES. It is the sense of the Senate that the amounts appropriated for fiscal year 2026 for the National Cancer Institute, Alzheimer's disease-related dementias research, the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive [[Page S1238]] and Kidney Diseases, and the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke should be increased by 10 percent. ______
