RITCHIE TORRES of new york in the house of representatives Tuesday, January 7, 2025 Mr. TORRES of New York. Mr. Speaker, on Roll Call No. 429 of the 118th Congress, which was H.R. 7909 the Violence Against Women by Illegal Aliens Act, I voted in error NAY, when I fully intended to vote YEA. I am here to set the record straight: I strongly support legislation that deports the worst violent criminals, including sex offenders. There should be zero tolerance for sex offenders in our society.
