Mr. PADILLA submitted an amendment intended to be proposed by him to the bill H.R. 6644, a bill to increase the supply of housing in America, and for other purposes; which was ordered to lie on the table; as follows: At the appropriate place, insert the following: SEC. __. EXCLUSION OF CERTAIN HUD-VASH VOUCHERS FROM PROJECT- BASED ASSISTANCE CAP. Section 8(o)(19) of the United States Housing Act of 1937 (42 U.S.C. 1437f(o)(19)) is amended by adding at the end the following: ``(E) Percentage limitation for project-based assistance.-- The percentage limitation under paragraph (13)(B) shall not apply to assistance provided under this paragraph, if the assistance is project-based and for units constructed on Department property (as defined in section 901 of title 38, United States Code) on or after the date of enactment of this subparagraph.''. ____________________
