Mr. WYDEN submitted an amendment intended to be proposed by him to the bill S. 1383, to establish the Veterans Advisory Committee on Equal Access, and for other purposes; which was ordered to lie on the table; as follows: At the appropriate place, insert the following: SEC. __. PUBLICATION AND TRANSMISSION TO CONGRESS OF REPORTS ON INVESTIGATIONS UNDER SECTION 232 OF THE TRADE EXPANSION ACT OF 1962. (a) Publication and Transmission of Past Reports.--Not later than one day after the date of the enactment of this Act, the Secretary of Commerce shall-- (1) publish in the Federal Register all reports submitted by the Secretary to the President on the findings of investigations initiated under section 232(b) of the Trade Expansion Act of 1962 (19 U.S.C. 1862(b)) on or after January 20, 2025, and before the date of the enactment of this Act, excluding any portions of those reports that contain classified or proprietary information, as required under paragraph (3)(B) of that section; and (2) transmit to Congress any portion of those reports that contain classified information, which may be viewed only by Members of Congress and their staff with appropriate security clearances. (b) Publication of Future Reports.--Section 232(b)(3)(B) of the Trade Expansion Act of 1962 (19 U.S.C. 1862(b)(3)(B)) is amended to read as follows: ``(B) On the same day that the Secretary submits a report to the President under subparagraph (A), any portion of the report that does not contain classified information or proprietary information shall be published in the Federal register.''. ______
