Mr. SCHIFF submitted an amendment intended to be proposed by him to the bill S. 1383, to establish the Veterans Advisory Committee on Equal Access, and for other purposes; which was ordered to lie on the table; as follows: At the end of the bill, add the following: SEC. 4. PURPOSE OF JUDGE ADVOCATE GENERALS. (a) Sense of Congress.--It is the sense of Congress that the main purpose of Judge Advocate Generals is representing and defending military members and families. (b) Temporary Immigration Judges.--Judge Advocate Generals should not be appointed as temporary immigration judges to serve in the Executive Office for Immigration Review. ______
