PAYING TRIBUTE TO HONOR THE LIVES OF THE SIX KC-135 CREWMEMBERS

Congressional Record, Volume 172 Issue 50 (Thursday, March 19, 2026) [Congressional Record Volume 172, Number 50 (Thursday, March 19, 2026)] [House] [Page H2606] From the Congressional Record Online through the Government Publishing Office [ www.gpo.gov ] PAYING TRIBUTE TO HONOR THE LIVES OF THE SIX KC-135 CREWMEMBERS (Mr. ROGERS of Alabama asked and was given permission to address the House for 1 minute.) Mr. ROGERS of Alabama. Mr. Speaker, I rise with my colleagues from the States of Alabama and Ohio to honor the lives of the six KC-135 crewmembers who tragically lost their lives in support of Operation Epic Fury on March 12, 2026. Our prayers are with the families of Major John Klinner, Captain Ariana Savino, and Technical Sergeant Ashley Pruitt assigned to the 6th Air Refueling Wing performing duties for the 99th Air Refueling Squadron out of Birmingham, Alabama, along with the families of Captain Seth Koval, Captain Curtis Angst, and Technical Sergeant Tyler Simmons assigned to the 121st Air Refueling Wing out of Columbus, Ohio. I also acknowledge the total of 13 servicemembers who have lost their lives during this conflict. We commend their selfless sacrifice and service to our country and pray for their loved ones. Please join me in a moment of silence to honor their memory. ____________________
